Internship at Exail Robotics Belgium

A reflection on my internship from February through May, where I moved from deep research into object detection and recognition to building robust pipelines, presenting the work, and growing through every challenge along the way.

How I came up with this website and built it

Why I wanted a portfolio that felt more personal than a CV or LinkedIn page, and how I wrote it from scratch with a simple static stack focused on clarity, speed, and control.

DeepSeek — smart over scale

How a small, focused team challenged OpenAI not with massive compute, but with smarter optimization and efficient architectures. A reminder that innovation isn't always about who has the most GPUs — it's about who uses their resources the smartest.

From IPv4 to IPv6

Scalability, simplified routing, built-in IPsec, and the practical migration paths — dual-stack, tunneling, translation. The takeaway: IPv6 is already here, and preparing for it is essential.

Hack the Future — Seafence challenge

A strategic submarine simulation where each round pushed our sub deeper while we defended against attacks from rival teams. Out of 20 groups, my teammate and I placed 9th and 5th across the two testing phases — an intense exercise in problem-solving, teamwork, and rapid prototyping.

Cross-platform with Flutter and Dart

Flutter's basics, core principles, and the Dart language behind it. A useful look at how Flutter simplifies cross-platform app development while keeping native performance and clean UI capabilities.

Discovering the power of Hugging Face

An inspiring talk on how Hugging Face is shaping the AI and LLM ecosystem — making advanced models accessible to developers and researchers, and showing how open-source collaboration drives real progress in machine learning.
